Season 27was the harvest of a new policy of the last seasons. A stunning 1.400 points increase relative to season 26, meant that Sprint4Live ended the season on 4.440 points. All squads improved their scorings, with Venancio Beto as the absolute toprider!
Slico expects an further increase in season 28, with the #1 spot as goal.
---- The Squads ----
- The Sprinters
It was Dries Schuurman's first complete season as sprinter, in which he performed quite well with 940 points, while also the old warrior Saenen scored 100 points. This results in 1.040 points total for the sprinters, 270 more than S26.
- The Climbers
Although Venancio Beto already won the Best Climber Award in S26, he crushed his total of 1.040 in S26 to ending Season 27 with 1.460 points. Cherkasov captained in less races this year, but still scored 200 points. Savthong (100) also scored points. Also newsworthy was the sale of Lepage and the buying of Solvang.
The Climbers scored in total 1.760 points, which is a 70-points-increase in comparison to the brilliant S26.
-The Timetrialers
The TT'ers were the greatest improving squad, with a stunning 920-points-increase. Falconio did the most with 580 points, while Aelemans also scored 430 points. Echlin overachieved with 370 points, while Odowd already managed to win 170 in his short stay.
